2021 Tennessee State Open Checker Tournament. We are currently planning to have the tournament on March 5th thru 7th (Friday thru Sunday) at the Comfort Suites in Lebanon Tn. The hotel is located at 904 Murfreesboro Rd (exit 238 south from I-40). For reservations at Comfort Suites, call 615-443-0027 (cost $84.95 plus tax). For reservations at Econo Lodge, call 615-444-1001 (cost $64.95 plus tax). Please call before February 19, 2021 for reservations and tell them you are a checker player. There is no guarantee that the rates will apply or that the rooms will be available after that date. Any reservation can be cancelled as late as 4pm the day before your arrival. The playing room is free provided a combined total of 10 rooms (from both hotels) are rented. Otherwise, there will be a daily fee. We play in the main conference room at Comfort Suites. This room is sizeable and social distancing will be available if needed. Two rounds will be played on Friday, four on Saturday, and two on Sunday. Registration will begin on Friday at 1pm followed by a business meeting at 3pm. Play will start immediately following the business meeting on Friday and end Sunday at 1pm.
